Leeds United striker Ryan Edmondson has joined Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen on loan until January.
The forward has been a key figure for the club's Under-23s outfit in recent seasons following his move from York City in November 2017 but will now continue his development away from the club.

Edmondson has made just two senior appearances for the club so far but has seen his chances under head coach Marcelo Bielsa limited.
The striker was ruled out for two months in February after undergoing knee surgery but is now back to full fitness with the Whites sending him north of the border for some first team experience.
Dons head coach Derek McInnes confirmed that he was looking to bolster his forward options ahead of his sides first league game of the new campaign this weekend and Edmondson will head straight into his first team squad.

“I’m delighted Ryan is here," McInnes told the club website.
“His eagerness and willingness to come to Aberdeen is really encouraging. He is a player we’ve known about for a while and always felt he had the correct attributes to add to our squad.
“With the injuries to Sam and Curtis we clearly would have been short of two of our key players so I must thank the Board for their co-operation in getting Ryan here, during what is a financially tough period for the Club.

The YEP also understands Leeds are considering handing Edmondson a contract extension at Elland Road with his current deal set to expire next summer.
