Grot, who is on loan with Dutch outfit Vitesse Arnhem, suffered a meniscus tear during Saturday's 1-0 win at home to FC Twente in which he scored the only goal of the game.

After coming as a 32nd-minute substitute, the 21-year-old striker netted the fine solo effort with 20 minutes left but then had to be taken off just three minutes later.

The forward will have surgery on Wednesday and Grot faces a potential three months out.

Grot's 22nd birthday is this Friday.
