Leeds United stepping up training after EFL gives green light to full contact risk assessment


The Championship leaders returned to the training ground last week for small group sessions, observing social distancing.
But the EFL's approval of their risk assessment means they can now start the process of reintroducing players to full contact training.

Hide AdA statement released by the EFL on Sunday night revealed that the provisional restart date for Championship fixtures is the weekend of June 20.
Leeds' players came back to Thorp Arch in good shape, having been put through daily individual sessions while at home.
The Whites lead the division by a point, from second-placed West Brom, with nine games remaining, all of which will take place behind closed doors.
