The Whites are back in the country's top flight for the first time in 16 years after sealing promotion as Championship title winners by finishing ten points clear of second-placed West Brom.

And Leeds have been handed a trip to last season's champions on the opening weekend of the season with United's first home game coming against Championship play-off winners Fulham the following weekend.

The Whites will then end September with a Yorkshire derby at Sheffield United the following weekend before taking on Manchester City at Elland Road for the first game in October.

Leeds will renew rivalries with fierce enemies Manchester United at Old Trafford over the weekend of December 19 with the return fixture against the Red Devils taking place over the weekend of April 24 - one week after Liverpool visit Elland Road.

The home clash against the Reds is preceded by the visit to Manchester City as part of an April that begins with a home clash against the Blades.

Leeds will entertain Burnley on Boxing Day - two days before a trip to West Brom - and visit Tottenham Hotspur for their new year fixture.
