A Leeds United star is suffering from a new injury problem and action has been taken.

Leeds United midfielder Glen Kamara is suffering from a leg problem and will miss this week’s international friendlies with Finland.

Kamara played 73 minutes of last month’s Championship play-off final defeat to Southampton in which he was substituted for Connor Roberts as Leeds looked for a way back after Adam Armstrong’s first-half opener.

United’s season was ended by a 1-0 defeat but Finland regular Kamara then had June’s international friendlies on the agenda, including a possible Whites clash against team mate Liam Cooper in facing Scotland.

Kamara, though, is missing from the current Finland squad due to experiencing a leg problem.

A statement released by Finland’s national team this weekend read: “Suffering from a leg problem, Glen Kamara will not be in Huuhkajie's strength when Finland meets Portugal at the José Alvalade Stadium in Lisbon on Tuesday, June 4, and Scotland at Hampden Park in Glasgow on Friday, June 7. The team will not be supplemented for the time being.”
