Leeds United stance on Jesse Marsch amid ‘dangerous’ verdict and pundit hammers Whites
and live on Freeview channel 276
Leeds United are falling into crisis mode after a torrid run of form that has left them in the bottom three. The Whites suffered a home defeat to newly promoted Fulham over the weekend to remain winless since the end of August.
Despite a solid start, Leeds are now looking up at safety following their extended run without a win, though they do have a game in hand over most. Jesse Marsch seems to have enough support to continue for now, but he can ill-afford to continue this form if he wants to keep his job. Liverpool are next up, but in the meantime, we have rounded up all the latest headlines surrounding Elland Road.

Leeds are said to be remaining behind Marsch for now despite pressure building intensely. As the YEP previously reported, there are no immediate plans to remove the American from his role.
Marsch is going to get a chance to turn things around, but with Liverpool next up and Tottenham still to play before the World Cup break, he has a very tricky job to climb out of the relegation zone in the coming weeks.
Leeds might just need a surprise win somewhere for Marsch to keep the confidence he is clinging on to as things stand. Meanwhile, lead YEP writer Graham Smyth has explained that Marsh and United seem on a ‘dangerous collision course’.
Shearer criticism
Match of the Day pundit Alan Shearer has criticised Leeds for their defending in the defeat to Fulham.

“You just look at Mitrovic and Ayling there, he’s too strong for him, he pushes him off and gets to the ball first. Another corner, watch how they go to sleep. The whole Leeds team goes to sleep and switches off, you cannot switch off at this level, any level.”
