Summerville, 18, has represented Netherlands youth sides at under-16s, 17s, 18s and 19s level having progressed through the Feyenoord Academy.

The teen has had loan spells away from the club with Dutch second tier outfit AC Dordrecht and top-flight side ADO Den Haag and now becomes United's latest young signing as part of a busy summer.

Summerville helped Netherlands' under-17s win the 2018 UEFA European Under-17 Championships on English soil with the winger netting in a group game against Germany and coming on as a substitute in the final against Italy.

The teenager bagged his first goal in the Eredivisie last October when netting for ADO Den Haag in the 2-0 win against Vitesse Arnhem.

In doing so, he became the club's youngest scorer in the country's top flight as part of a campaign in which the winger made 21 Eredivisie appearances, scoring twice.

Summerville, who has penned terms at Leeds until the summer of 2023, now becomes the latest young player to join the club during the current transfer window following the arrivals of Charlie Allen, Cody Drameh, Joe Gelhardt, Sam Greenwood and Dani van den Heuvel and will link up with Mark Jackson’s under-23s.
