Leeds United ended their 2025/26 Elland Road campaign on a high thanks to Sunday’s 1-0 win over Brighton and Hove Albion. The Whites looked set for a point before Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s 95th-minute winner, the striker rounding goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen after pouncing on a short Jan Paul van Hecke backpass.
Calvert-Lewin’s winner grabbed the headlines but Leeds’ defensive performance was particularly impressive on Sunday as Daniel Farke’s side kept their eighth clean sheet of the season. Goalkeeper Karl Darlow produced a string of fine saves while those in front of him fought tooth and nail to get in front of everything else.
Darlow is one of two Leeds players to be recognised for their efforts in Sky Sports pundit Clinton Morrison’s Premier League Team of the Week. Take a look below to see who joins the Welshman.
