Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s goalscoring run was ultimately ended in Sunday’s final game of the season at West Ham - but the Whites no 9 still took high rank in the Premier League’s final top scorer charts.
Signed on a free transfer last summer, Calvert-Lewin went into the weekend’s last match of the season having netted 14 goals including one in each of United’s last three games.
Having gone six games without a goal, Calvert-Lewin got his name back on the scoresheet in last month’s 3-0 win at home to Wolves before drawing a blank again in the 2-2 draw at Bournemouth.
But the 29-year-old then netted in the games against Burnley, Tottenham and Brighton before seeing his bid to score in four games in a row thwarted in Sunday’s 3-0 loss at West Ham.
Nevertheless, whilst not able to get near a clear breakaway top two, the Whites no 9 still took high rank in the division’s final top scorer charts and here we run through the top ten in reverse order.
