Leeds United are in action for the final time this season when they face West Ham at the London Stadium on Sunday. Daniel Farke’s side have only pride and a possible climb up the table to play for but the same cannot be said for their hosts, who must win and hope Tottenham Hotspur lose against Everton to survive.
Farke confirmed on Friday the injury situation is still ‘tricky’ at Leeds, with Sean Longstaff joining six other absentees from last weekend’s 1-0 win over Brighton. But the Whites boss could welcome back a couple of important defenders in what would be a big boost, given how thin the squad is spread.
Sunday could also be a final chance for any potential summer exits to wave their goodbye to Leeds with the pressure to survive very much gone. Below, the YEP attempts to predict how Farke’s side could line-up for this final-day trip to the capital.

7. CM: Ethan Ampadu
Another who, like Rodon, seems more desperate to win if anything following survival. A chance to show why he won Player of the Season and Players' Player of the Season at this week's awards. | Getty Images

8. CM: Ao Tanaka
Shown some good bits and some not-so-good bits in recent weeks, and struggled to impact the Brighton game. Could be useful to keep things calm in midfield, however, with West Ham set to come flying out the blocks. | Getty Images

9. CAM: Brenden Aaronson
Farke has a bit of a midfield headache with Ilia Gruev, Sean Longstaff and Anton Stach all injured. The American could operate in a slightly more attacking role, with Leeds safe in the knowledge he'll do the hard yards to track back too. | Getty Images

10. LWB: James Justin
It would typify Justin's debut season at Leeds if he was moved across three or four different positions on Sunday. Mr Versatile has been a revelation this calendar year. Will be tasked, at left wing-back at least, with keeping Jarrod Bowen quiet. | Getty Images

11. ST: Lukas Nmecha
Replaces the injured Stach in the XI, with Aaronson dropping back a little. Can operate in a slightly hybrid role between second-striker and left-winger. Will bring physicality. | Getty Images

12. ST: Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Out with a point to prove after missing an England World Cup call-up. One away from 15 Premier League goals and two short of his best-ever tally. What a way to end the season that could be. | Getty Images
