Leeds United star drops hint of massive Whites boost before West Ham season finale
A Leeds United star has dropped a hint of a massive Whites boost.
Leeds United star Pascal Struijk has dropped a hint of a massive Whites boost ahead of Sunday’s final game of the Premier League season at West Ham.
Injured quintet Gabi Gudmundsson, Noah Okafor, Ilia Gruev, Anton Stach and Sean Longstaff had already been ruled out of Sunday’s finale for which Struijk and Jayden Bogle were listed as doubts at Friday’s pre-match press conference.
Struijk missed last weekend’s hosting of Brighton with a hip injury which forced him off midway through the second half of the previous Monday night’s clash at Tottenham Hotspur for which he was originally a doubt for.
Farke, though, revealed on Friday that Struijk had returned to training, United’s German boss hopeful that the defender could be available for Sunday’s trip to West Ham,
Judging by Struijk’s social media, that looks like being the case, the defender posting a photo of himself with a match graphic on his Instagram story which is usually a sign that a player is part of the matchday squad.
As of Sunday lunchtime there had been no updates regarding Bogle who has missed his side’s last two games with a hamstring injury.
Farke said on Friday that the right back might have a chance of featuring against the Hammers, depending on how his body reacted.
