Leeds United winger Largie Ramazani may not be passed fit for this Saturday's trip to Bristol City after injuring his ankle in the 2-1 midweek victory against Watford.

Ramazani opened the scoring after three minutes when his rasping, right-footed attempt was spilled by Hornets goalkeeper Daniel Bachmann. Despite the stopper's best efforts, he was unable to prevent the shot crossing the line, which gave Leeds an early advantage that ultimately proved crucial.

Brenden Aaronson added a second minutes later, profiting from poor goalkeeping by Bachmann once more and Leeds were cruising, two goals to the good inside seven minutes.

However, United's joy was short-lived as Ramazani was forcibly withdrawn due to an injury on 13 minutes. Having skipped past Moussa Sissoko, knocking the ball through the Frenchman's legs, he was chopped down by full-back Festy Ebosele. In the process, the Belgian winger appeared to injure himself and after an initial on-field assessment, sought to carry on.

It soon became apparent that would not be possible and Manor Solomon was dispatched from the bench to replace Leeds' summer signing from Almeria.

After the game, Daniel Farke provided an update on Ramazani's condition: “Rolled, twisted his ankle, it was pretty painful. We have to wait for further assessment.

"I hope for not a bad injury, we deserve a bit of luck,” he added.

What does Leeds’ absentee list look like after Ramazani’s injury?

Leeds are already without Ethan Ampadu, Ilia Gruev, Max Wober and Junior Firpo for the visit to Ashton Gate this weekend, the latter serving a one-match suspension after picking up his fifth caution of the season against Watford.

Fortunately for Farke, the return of Solomon and fellow wing option Dan James to the bench in recent weeks means if Ramazani is unable to feature, a straight swap to the starting line-up will be feasible.
