Fresh team news has been provided for Leeds United’s Roses derby at home to Manchester United for which five players are now out and seven more doubtful but with three others back.
The Whites and Red Devils will lock horns for the first time this season in Sunday’s 2pm kick-off at Elland Road, ahead of which Leeds will have had a full week off following last weekend’s 2-1 defeat at champions Arsenal in a Saturday lunchtime kick-off at the Emirates.
Manchester United were in action later that day with an evening kick-off at home to Tottenham Hotspur who left Old Trafford with a 1-1 draw despite playing the final 12 minutes with ten men.
Bryan Mbeumo had fired the Red Devils ahead with 17 minutes left and Tottenham’s Rodrigo Bentancur was sent off five minutes later but Dominic Solanke struck a 92nd-minute equaliser to give Tottenham a 1-1 draw.
Without a win from their last four games, Manchester United were then in Champions League action on Tuesday night with a trip to Spain to face Atletico Madrid and the club’s troubles continued as they fell to a 2-0 defeat.
A trip to Leeds now awaits for the Red Devils just five days later. Both teams have key men either injured or doubtful for the contest but Manchester United have it significantly worse on that front.
Here, following midweek updates, we run through the injuries latest which now totals five out and seven more doubtful but with three others back.

1. OUT: Joe Rodon
Leeds centre-back Rodon was expected to be looking at eight to ten weeks out with the serious hamstring injury suffered in the 1-1 draw at home to Brentford on August 30. Farke did say at Thursday's pre-Arsenal presser that Rodon was making good progress in his rehab but that it would be a bit of time still before he was back. Farke said last week: : “Joe is on his way back in his rehab making good progress. He has already had individual sessions on the pitch but it will be a bit until he is back in team training." | Getty Images
