Here, we take a look at those spending the season away from Elland Road in a bid to find first team action and check out how they are getting on with their temporary teams - so... who made their presence felt this weekend?

Let's take a look...

Alfie McCalmont - Oldham Athletic

Alfie McCalmont bagged a goal for Oldham Athletic in an impressive 5-2 victory over Colchester United on Friday night.

The midfielder has made 31 League Two appearances this season, scoring seven goals and bagging five assists.

McCalmont's strike caused headlines this weekend for a bizarre free-kick routine in the build-up.

The 21-year-old stepped up to hit the set piece home off the inside of the post, but beforehand four of his team-mates huddled in the six-yard box and comically jumped around in front of goal.

Oldham's players then rushed back to where the wall stood as McCalmont struck his effort.

Remember Whites set piece coach Gianni Vio? Apparently it was inspired by his fleeting employment at Leeds.

"I'd like to take all the credit for it but I can't," Latics boss Keith Curle said post-match.

"It's Paul Butler's one. He had an international set-piece specialist come over and he did it when he was at Leeds and he said it worked, so he put it on at the training ground. And I've got to say I was sceptical to say the least.

"I'd like to take the credit, but I won't do. That one's down to Paul."

Oldham are 16th in League Two, safely in mid-table.
