It was a summer to remember at Elland Road, for all the wrong reasons to begin with: relegation and a subsequent player exodus left plenty of work to be done for incoming ownership group 49ers Enterprises.
Nine new arrivals, in addition to the appointment of Daniel Farke as manager, have somewhat turned the tide on the narrative of the summer 2023 transfer window, but it’s certainly one for the books.

7. Jack Harrison

8. Adam Forshaw
A popular figure at Elland Road, Adam Forshaw moved on at the end of his contract last season and was offered a deal by Norwich City, signing for the Canaries on a free transfer. So far he has made one senior appearance off the bench in the League Cup and one start for Norwich's Under-21s in order to build match fitness. McCalmont spent the second half of last season on loan at Carlisle before sealing a permanent switch to the League Two play-off promotion winners this summer. Robles left Elland Road after one season to join Al Qadsiah on a free transfer. He has taken up the No. 1 spot at the second tier Saudi Arabian club and remains unbeaten so far, winning three of the team's opening four matches, keeping three clean sheets in the process.
