Leeds United recorded a 2-0 victory against Bundesliga side RB Leipzig in a pre-season friendly at Elland Road ahead of the new campaign - but how did we rate the players?
Leeds went ahead in the seventh minute after a flying run by Joe Rodon and perfect square ball created a golden chance for Dominic Calvert-Lewin who wasn’t going to miss and duly converted.
A game which consisted of two lots of 60 minutes then saw lots of changes for the second half in which three substitutes combined for United’s second goal as Lukas Nmecha slammed home a clinical finish after good work from Brenden Aaronson and Willy Gnonto.
Leeds United writer Lee Sobot hands out the scores.

1. Alex Cairns
8 - Some early worries with the ball at his feet and a clearance that went straight to Leipzig but then very solid between the sticks, making a few good saves and an excellent stop near the end. Serenaded with ironic chants of "England's no 1" from the South Stand and kept a clean sheet in playing the full 120 minutes so couldn't have done much more. We'll give him an 8 then, why not. | Getty Images

2. Jayden Bogle
7 - Similar story in both wing back positions with Bogle getting forward and causing problems but with Leipzig getting in behind him a few times. | Getty Images

3. Joe Rodon
9 - Don't know what he had for breakfast but what a performance from the centre-back or is it winger? Got forward so much down the right and brilliant run and cross created the goal. But also rock solid at the back. | Getty Images

4. Sebastiaan Bornauw
8 - Really good display in a big position as the middle centre-back. Will give Bijol a run for his money on this evidence. | Getty Images

5. Tarik Muharemovic
8 - 'Aura' sums up the £34m summer signing, so composed, classy but also tough as nails. Some really important tackles and clearances but also neat passes and turns at times. | Getty Images

6. James Justin
7 - Very similar to Bogle on the other side, lots of danger getting forward but Leipizig in behind him at times but ended the half with lots of clearances. | Getty Images
