Leeds United 'keeper Illan Meslier heading for Under-21s Euros with France
LEEDS United goalkeeper Illan Meslier has been named in the France under-21s squad for the group stage games of the Under-21s European Championships.
The competition is being held in Hungary and Slovenia, and France will take on fellow Group C sides Denmark on March 25, Russia on March 28 and then Iceland on March 31.
Meslier is still awaiting his France under-21s debut despite his fine form as first choice 'keeper for the Whites.
England are in Group D with Portugal, Croatia and Switzerland.
The group stage and knockout stage are being held separately, with the group winners and runners-up advancing to the eight-team knockout phase that will take place between May 31 and June 6.
