Big chance for Jean-Matteo Bahoya as boss takes decision on Leeds United attacker after international call
A decision on Leeds United summer signing Jean Matteo-Bahoya.
A decision has been taken on Leeds United summer signing Jean Matteo-Bahoya after the French attacker’s international call.
Bahoya joined Leeds from Eintracht Frankfurt in a late deal on transfer deadline day but the 21-year-old attacker faced a wait before making his Whites debut as a late substitute in Sunday’s Premier League clash at home to Crystal Palace.
Bahoya, though, had still earlier been called up to the France under-21s squad and boss Gerald Baticle has taken the decision to start Bahoya in Friday afternoon’s Euros under-21s qualifier against Iceland.
The game kicks off at 4pm UK time, Bahoya partnered by Tottenham’s Mathys Tel and Al-Hilal’s Saimon Bouabre in the front line.
