Bielsa was initially named as one of five nominees for the award alongside Bayern Munich's Hans-Dieter Flick, Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp, Sevilla's Julen Lopetegui and Real Madrid's Zinedine Zidane.

That shortlist has now been whittled down to three with Bielsa now facing competition from Reds boss Klopp and Bayern manager Flick.
