Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa braced for 'powerful' Wolves test

WHITES head coach Marcelo Bielsa says Leeds United will be facing a powerful side now established in the country's top flight in Monday night's Elland Road showdown against Wolves.

The Molineux outfit were promoted as Championship champions in the 2017-18 campaign and Nuno Espirito Santo's side have sealed seventh-placed finishes in both of their first two seasons back competing with the country's elite.

Another influx of exciting recruits were brought into the club this summer including record signing Fabio Silva and Bielsa is full of respect for Monday night's visitors.

Bielsa said: "More than them having some new players they are incorporating into their team, they are a team that is consolidated in the league with a system ingrained within their players, with powerful competitiveness.
