The Whites will head over the Pennines to take on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men when the new season gets underway.

Marcelo Bielsa's outfit will begin the new term on the weekend of August 14/15.

United for the first time since promotion are likely to be backed by an army of travelling fans in the top flight when they head to Old Trafford to renew rivalries with an old foe.

Leeds fell to a disappointing 6-2 reverse against the Red Devils last December while a competitive 0-0 draw was played out at Elland Road in April.

The LS11 club have now been given a tricky start to their second campaign as a Premier League club.

Leeds, though, will travel looking to put things right after a summer of preparation for one of the biggest games of the season.

Bielsa's side then host Everton (August 21) at Elland Road before a trip to Turf Moor to take on Burnley on August 28 to finish the first month of the season.

The opening round of the Carabao Cup is pencilled in for August 10/11, just a few days before the league season gets underway.
