The 21-year-old's new deal runs until the summer of 2022.

He's out on loan with Bradford City this season and has made seven appearances, including an FA Cup debut, for Stuart McCall's men.

Hosannah was due to play in the EFL Trophy against Whites Under 23s team-mate Alfie McCalmont on Tuesday night but a hamstring injury kept the defender out of action.

The YEP spoke to the youngster earlier this week in an exclusive interview that will appear on our website later today.
