Leeds United fans debate Marcelo Bielsa decision after Kalvin Phillips injury
Marcelo Bielsa has confirmed Kalvin Phillips is likely to miss Leeds United’s next three fixtures with a knee injury sustained against Swansea.
The Whites now need just four points from their final three matches to secure automatic promotion to the Premier League.
And Leeds fans have been quick to react to the Phillips injury news – with many taking to Twitter to debate the tactical decisions Bielsa could make:
@ElGaineseo: “Ben White moves up to CDM then he's been great in that role and Berra has been solid when he's been put in at CB.”
@CBMPrimate666: “He'll obviously be a miss but we can still do it. He has missed 6 games this season and we won 4 of those. Berra has one of the best win ratios of our players and White was really good last time he played at DM. Not ideal but we can still do it.”
@1LukeRhodes: “Please leave White in his position, play Douglas at LB and play Dallas in the middle.”
@lianebaxter: “The last time Ben played in Kalvin’s place he had a fantastic game. Beradi hasn't let us down this season. Hope he gets to play the last 3, probably his final games for us.were not cocking this up this year. Believe in each and everyone at our club it's our year.”
@RetroLUFC: “Phillips missed the Huddersfield game before lockdown didn’t he? We played great, we go again.”
@MattyHill83: “I don’t think he’s been anywhere near his best since the restart.”
