Leeds United fan who famously dressed as Marcelo Bielsa and Kalvin Phillips honours Liam Cooper in World Book Day outfit

A five-year-old boy whose Marcelo Bielsa Leeds United Halloween costume delighted football fans around the world has dressed up his favourite player Liam Cooper for World Book Day.

Irish youngster Freddie Callaghan is from a Leeds United-supporting family and his mum Fiona shared photos on Twitter of her son dressed as Liam Cooper for World Book Day.

Fiona told the Yorkshire Evening Post that Liam Cooper was Freddie's 'all time favourite' player.

In a tweet posted on social media, she said: "For World Book Day he decided he is bringing his Leeds programme with Cooper on the front.

"As usual no one in Clondalkin will have a clue who he is!"

Freddie made headlines around the country after dressing as Marcelo Bielsa for Halloween in 2018.

Freddie's parents dyed his hair white and he used his blue Lego tub as the famous 'Bielsa bucket'.

Soccer AM got in touch with the family, from Dublin, after Fiona's post was retweeted over 1,600 times.
