A dedicated Leeds United fan is on his way to Elland Road - after an epic 4,000 mile journey and 10 day quarantine to be able to see the Whites in action on the final day.

Andrew Pinder 53, who lives in the USA, set off on a plane from Kansas 10 days ago after bagging a ticket for the final game against West Brom today.

He has since had to quarantine inside a hotel before the eagerly awaited kickoff today.

Andrew is a huge Leeds United fan and has even sponsored the Leeds United Ladies for the previous three seasons.

Speaking to the YEP today, Andrew said Elland Road was "the only place in the entire world" he would want to be today.

Andrew said it had been 19 years since he last watched the Whites in a Premier League match.

He added: "It's incredible, my first premier league game for 19 years.

"I have had tears of happiness, and also sorrow, no Norman Hunter, so it's bitter sweet.
