Leeds United's Guille Amor and Rafa Mujica are set to depart Elland Road this month, the YEP understands.

The Spanish duo joined the ranks at Thorp Arch in the summer but are now set to leave the West Yorkshire club in the winter transfer window.

Amor, 19, and Mujica, 21, both arrived from Barcelona's academy as development signings and penned two and three year contracts respectively.

It is understood Amor will return to Spain this month with La Liga side Getafe interested in landing his signature on a permanent basis.

Mujica, meanwhile, featured under Marcelo Bielsa in pre-season this term but was immediately sent out on loan to Spanish outfit Extremadura UD.

He has spent the first half of the current campaign in the Segunda Division but on Wednesday posted a picture of himself in a Villarreal shirt on social media though there has been no official announcement.

Mujica could leave on loan once more or make a permanent switch but his future in England is all but over.

The Whites added 18-year-old goalkeeper Elia Caprile to their ranks this week, with the Italian due to link up with Carlos Corberan's Under-23s initially following his move from Serie B team Chievo Verona.

Leeds remain in the hunt for a senior striker after having had a third bid for Southampton forward Che Adams turned down while Manchester City winger Ian Poveda is close to sealing a switch to LS11.

A deal for the 20-year-old is in place with Pep Guardiola's side with United confident of making him the club's second arrival this month.
