Leeds United discovered their FA Cup third round opponents on Monday night as Daniel Farke’s men were handed a visit to Championship club Derby County.
There is recent history between the two sides after they were involved in a Championship promotion race during Marcelo Bielsa’s managerial reign at Elland Road and that produced the expected fireworks as the two sides went head-to-head.
However, you have to go further back to discover the last time Leeds travelled to Derby in the FA Cup. That came in a third round tie in January 1996 as goals from Gary Speed, Brian Deane and Tony Yeboah helped Howard Wilkinson’s Whites come from two goals down to earn a 3-2 win at the Rams’ former home of the Baseball Ground.
But which players represented the Whites that day?
