Leeds United defender Barry Douglas has apologised following Saturday evenings 4-1 Championship defeat to West Brom at the Hawthorns.
Douglas, who was replaced by Jack Harrison in the 73rd minute of the game, reacted badly to being substituted as he exchanged words with the Leeds bench.
The Scot though has apologised for his actions, tweeting after the game: "Wake up call that for every one of us but can’t dwell on it, I apologise for my reaction at being substituted it was unprofessional of me.
"I was just disappointed at the score and emotions got the better of me, we will be back after the break stronger."
United fell to a disappointing defeat as goals from Hal Robson-Kanu, Matt Phillips, Harvey Barnes and Dwight Gayle condemned the Whites to a third defeat of the season and Marcelo Bielsa's biggest so far.
