Daniel Farke has named his Leeds United team for Sunday’s final day Premier League clash at West Ham which features a double Whites boost and young pair on the bench.
Key defenders Jayden Bogle and Pascal Struijk were both doubts for the contest after recent injuries but both return to the starting line up as part of three changes to the side.
The third change sees Lukas Nmecha start alongside Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the front line as Dan James, Sebastian Bornauw and the injured Anton Stach drop out.
James and Bornauw both drop to the bench where there are again spots for youngsters Alfie Cresswell and Rhys Chadwick as well as Brighton loanee Facundo Buonanotte upon his recovery from a recent hamstring injury.
Gabi Gudmundsson (hamstring), Noah Okafor (calf), Ilia Gruev (knee) and latest victims Stach (ankle) and Sean Longstaff (hernia surgery) had already been ruled out but Struijk (hip) and Bogle (hamstring) were given chances of returning by Farke at Friday’s pre-match press conference,
Struijk was back in training this week having missed last weekend’s hosting of Brighton whilst Farke said on Friday that Bogle might also have a chance depending on how his body reacted.
Brenden Aaronson was also taken off injured during last weekend’s win at home to Brighton but Farke said post match that the injury was a dead leg and the American keeps his place in the side.
