"Stick with him" - Leeds fans urged to show 'patience' with Daniel Farke after Man City defeat
Danny Murphy believes Leeds United fans should stick by Daniel Farke, despite recent results.
Leeds United fans need to be ‘more patient’ and stick by manager Daniel Farke.

That’s according to former England midfielder Danny Murphy, who gave a defence of the German manager in his analysis of Saturday’s defeat to Manchester City for Match of the Day.
After falling 2-0 down at the Etihad Stadium, the Whites managed to claw themselves level after half-time, with substitute Dominic Calvert-Lewin and fellow striker Lukas Nmecha getting the goals.
However, Phil Foden produced a piece of individual brilliance in stoppage time to net his second of the afternoon and City’s crucial third, sending Leeds back up the M62 empty-handed and still in the bottom three.

Leeds United fans urged to show ‘patience’ for Daniel Farke
Leeds have now lost six of their last seven Premier League matches, with Farke the favourite of many to be the next Premier League manager to lose his job.
But ex-Fulham and Liverpool midfielder Murphy believes Leeds’ performances have deserved better results and has urged supporters to get behind the German manager - who still appears to have the backing of his players.
“The last couple of games, the level of performance has been good. The players are playing for him,” Murphy said on Match of the Day. “They’ve been in a lot of games, they’ve lost points late in games; four or five in that 90 minutes plus mark.
“I think if the fans are a bit more patient… not more patient, but stick with him a bit longer, this team are getting better.
“I know they’ve got some tough fixtures coming up, but they can take a lot of heart from that second-half performance.”
What next for Leeds United?
As Murphy mentioned, Leeds have a tough run coming up.
The Whites have two home games on the horizon against a Chelsea side unbeaten in six and a Liverpool outfit that, despite struggling at present, are still defending champions.
Leeds then go on the road to Brentford, before completing their pre-Christmas schedule at home to Crystal Palace.
So, while Murphy is calling for managerial backing, the reality is that Farke might well pay with his job if Leeds don’t produce some positive results over the next couple of weeks.
