Leeds United face a swift return to action with Wednesday night’s Premier League visit of Chelsea to Elland Road - for which blows have left four out and three doubtful but with three more expected back.
Daniel Farke’s Whites will have an extra day’s recovery than Chelsea who host Arsenal in the Premier League’s final game of the weekend on Sunday afternoon.
Blues boss Enzo Maresca had stars missing for the top-of-the-table clash against the Gunners but also arguably the biggest star of the lot back.
Leeds, meanwhile, suffered a fresh injury blow in Saturday’s defeat at Manchester City for which Farke already had three men missing.
It’s all left four out and three doubtful but with three more expected back and here, we run through the early injury news from both camps.

9. OUT: Dan James
James reported a hamstring injury at half-time against City and after further assessment, Farke confirmed the bad news that a tendon issue will see the winger out for at least two months. That could be longer if surgery is required. | Getty Images

10. OUT: Dan James
Farke said of James on Thursday: "It depends if he needs surgery or not. As it stands it looks like we could do it in a conservative way but even that will mean he misses eight weeks. As it stands we have to expect he's out for two months, could be worse with surgery." | Getty Images
