Brighton vs Leeds United live updates, Bogle goal and score from Amex Stadium

Leeds United’s third Premier League game of the season takes them to Brighton this afternoon.

Leeds United are back on the road this afternoon when they face Brighton and Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium.

Daniel Farke’s side head to the south coast unbeaten after three games so far this season. The Whites beat Nottingham Forest in their Premier League and Carabao Cup openers before a 1-1 draw at home to Brentford last weekend.

Those four points are enough to see Leeds sit eighth in the Premier League at this early juncture, with hosts Brighton one place further back. The Seagulls beat Aston Villa 4-0 on the opening weekend before a 4-3 defeat at Chelsea last time out.

Leeds will be without Joe Rodon this afternoon with the Welsh defender suffering a hamstring injury against Brentford last weekend. Gabriel Gudmundsson could start after making the squad last week, however, while Ilia Gruev is also fit and available.

Deadline day arrivals Melvin Bard and Jean-Matteo Bahoya could also make the matchday squad, as could back-up goalkeeper Michael Zetterer who wasn’t registered in time for Brentford last weekend. All seven signings are fit and could be in the 20-man squad.

Hosts Brighton have a few injury issues to manage including former Elland Road favourite Georginio Rutter, who missed last weekend’s defeat to Chelsea. Attacking midfielder Jack Hinshelwood also missed out while wing pair Yankuba Minteh and Kaoru Mitoma have yet to feature.

Pascal Struijk also hasn’t played a single Premier League minute since his £18million Leeds exit, with the Dutchman behind Lewis Dunk and Luka Vuskovic in the pecking order. The Seagulls have scored seven goals in two games already this season and will provide another stern test.

With today’s meeting being a Saturday 3pm kick-off, there will be no live broadcast in the UK due to the traditional blackout. But you can keep up to date with all the action as it happens right here.
