Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa faces three rivals for Premier League manager of the month award

LEEDS United head coach Marcelo Bielsa has been nominated for the Premier League manager of the month award for April.

Bielsa's Whites came through an extremely difficult looking month unbeaten and produced a stunning 2-1 victory at champions elect Manchester City despite playing over half of the game with ten men following Liam Cooper's sending off.

Victory at the Etihad followed a 2-1 success at home to Sheffield United and Leeds then ended April with draws at home to Liverpool and Manchester United.

Bielsa is one of four contenders for the April manager of the month award alongside West Brom boss Sam Allardyce, Newcastle United manager Steve Bruce and Manchester United's Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
