Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa battles Manchester City supremo Pep Guardiola and three others for top award - how to vote
Leeds United's top-10 Premier League finish and the manner in which they went about their business as a newly promoted side have put Marcelo Bielsa on the shortlist for the 2020/21 Barclays Manager of the Season award.
Leeds' total of 59 points from their 38 games was the most a promoted side have accrued since Ipswich Town in the 2000/01 season.
But it was as much the relentless attacking nature of Leeds' play, which mirrored the style with which they earned top flight status, that made Bielsa's men one of the biggest stories of the season.
They took the fight to Manchester City in a thrilling 1-1 Elland Road draw and finished the campaign unbeaten against the 'big six' at home. Perhaps the finest moment of the season came when, with 10 men, they beat the champions elect at the Etihad.
Pep Guardiola joins Bielsa on the shortlist having steered Manchester City to a fifth Premier League title, along with West Ham United boss David Moyes who guided the Hammers to sixth place and a Europa League spot.
Brendan Rodgers and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer complete the list of nominees.
Public votes will represent 10 per cent of the total votes and will be combined with those of a panel of experts, including Jamie Carragher, Ian Wright, Gary Neville and Alex Scott.
