Club captain Liam Cooper was absent through illness and looks set for a prolonged spell out of the side.

Scotland manager Steve Clarke omitted him from the Tartan Army squad for the upcoming international break later this month and said it was due to him not being available for selection.

The Whites will be hoping to have Pablo Hernandez (muscle) back in the squad while Adam Forshaw (hip) remains sidelined.

Fulham injury concerns

Tom Cairney - knee

Marek Rodak - hand

Bobby De Cordova-Reid - knock
