The final details of the deal to bring the 23-year-old to Leeds were reportedly ironed out on Sunday night according to Sky Sports News and Raphinha will now undergo a medical with a view to signing for the Whites before tonight's 11pm deadline for international transfers.

The fee for Raphinha is reportedly set to be in the region of £17m plus add-ons.

The YEP reported on Saturday evening that the Whites were in talks for a deal to bring Raphinha to Elland Road as they attempt to complete their business in the summer transfer window.

Leeds have maintained a strong interest in Manchester United winger Dan James throughout the current window but the Whites have been keeping tabs on Raphinha.

United are also looking to sign a centre midfielder after a £20m deal to bring in Michael Cuisance from Bayern Munich collapsed on Thursday following issues with his medical.

On the potential outgoings front, there is interest in left back Barry Douglas with Watford and Blackburn Rovers linked with a move for his services.

Whites youngster Mateusz Bogusz is also set for a season-long loan with Spanish Segunda division side UD Logrones.

All deals for internationals must be completed by tonight's 11pm deadline but there is also a second window for domestic deals that opens today and closes at 5pm on Friday, October 16.

Only deals between Premier League clubs and EFL clubs - permanent switches or loans - will be allowed.
