"Doesn't work like that" - Bold call made with Leeds United fans in disagreement on AFC Bournemouth match

Leeds United’s fans have their say on Saturday’s clash at Bournemouth.

Leeds United take on arguably the Premier League’s most in form side on Saturday as part of a long away day to Bournemouth - but what do the club’s fans think? Here is what our YEP Jury have had to say including disagreement on the predictions front as a very bold 2-0 away win call is made.

NEIL GREWER

Leeds United’s last two games have yielded an acceptable points haul from disappointing performances and a feeling that they could have done better.

But these games were against sides playing not to lose rather than being ambitious. I feel this will not be the case on Saturday.

Bournemouth are fresh from victories in Europe, the Premier League and Carabao Cup and will be confident going into a game which they will probably be favourites to win.

So this may allow Leeds differing opportunities with more chance to play on the break – more like Arsenal away – and, hopefully, opportuity for a positive result.

Leeds should be bolstered by having Noah Okafor fit to start and Nico Elvedi available for selection. Harry Wilson may get an opportunity to shine which he needs to take as we are yet to see the best of him.

I predict a tight game with Leeds being capable of victory, but equally so Bournemouth. Ultimately, I would take a point now and remain difficult to beat.

Prediction: Bournemouth 1 Leeds United 1.

This Saturday, Leeds United have a long trip to the south coast as they will face AFC Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium in what will be an intriguing affair.

Leeds come into this fixture off the back of a goalless draw against Sunderland last weekend and have stumbled a bit in recent weeks after a blistering start to the season.

Whereas, Bournemouth will be absolutely buzzing after two back-to-back 3-0 victories against football giants AC Milan and Manchester United – so Leeds needs to be prepared for an incredibly difficult game.

In terms of team news, Bournemouth striker Eli Junior Kroupi is back from injury, but Veljko Milosavljevic is a doubt for them.

For the Whites, Anton Stach should be fully back from injury now after coming on as a substitute in the last game and winger Dan James should also be fit again.

The Whites head into this game in seventh in the table, however their recent lack of goals is starting to be a bit of a concern for the supporters, and they worry that we are becoming too reliant on Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Prediction: Bournemouth 2 Leeds United 2.

Leeds went to Sunderland knowing the Black Cats had lost their previous four Premier League games, and we only came away with a point.

This Saturday, we go to a Bournemouth side that has won its last five in all competitions, with a combined goals tally of 14 for and none against, including a 2-0 victory against Sunderland; that suggests a home win! Fortunately, football doesn’t work like that!

The Sunderland game had a few important aspects that give us hope that it wasn’t representative of our form: ‘the wind was very windy,’ as James Trafford put it; we were missing three of our regular starting XI; and the Black Cats were not only lucky, but also upped their game significantly. Leeds can play better too.

It’s clear that the Cherries have benefitted from plenty of good fortune themselves in their recent upturn.

Their win against Sunderland was largely down to the Mackems going down to 10 men early doors, as did Milan in a 3-0 Cherries win that also saw them score two penalties; and their three-goal demolition of Man United came after we softened up the Red Devils the previous week. There is hope, even though it sometimes kills us!

Prediction: Bournemouth 0 Leeds United 2.

The last two results may have brought points but not many prizes as Leeds came out of games against a crisis-riddled Man United and bottom-placed Sunderland with only two points.

The main questions at Sunderland were aimed at the performances of Brenden Aaronson and Harry Wilson, who both did very little before being substituted after an hour.

Wilson at least put a couple of crosses into the Sunderland penalty area but Aaronson did absolutely nothing. It does make you question why nearly every game he either plays or is one of the first players to come on as a substitute. To me this season his limitations as a player are there for all to see but unfortunately Farke sees him in a more positive light.

Saturday a tough test on the south coast is next up. Bournemouth battered a demoralised Man United side 3-0 at Old Trafford without getting out of second gear. They also beat AC Milan by the same scoreline four days earlier

Hopefully Anton Stach, Nico Elvedi and Noah Okafor will be fit to start as Leeds will need them to be more offensive in the final third than they were at Sunderland. I’m usually confident but feel Bournemouth might hand us our second defeat of the season.

Prediction: Bournemouth 2 Leeds United 1.

Saturday's encounter on the South Coast is likely to be another example of the narrow margins between success and failure in the Premier League.

After an uninspiring start to the season, the Cherries sit six places behind United but are only two points adrift.

A few weeks ago, you would have picked this out as one of the more winnable fixtures. But how things have changed!

Bournemouth are now on a roll, having stuck a total of five goals without reply past Sunderland and Manchester United in their last two Premier League outings.

Their Europa League and EFL Cup encounters are equally impressive and they seem to be scoring goals at will as well as keeping clean sheets.

Hopefully, the Whites will be able to field a stronger side than against Sunderland but it's going to be another battle.

Last season, the Whites earned a point with a late (90+7 minutes) equalizer from Sean Longstaff.

Some of our more-demanding fans might turn their noses up at another draw this season but I, for one, would welcome a point.

Prediction: Bournemouth 1 Leeds United 1.
