Leeds United 1 Hull City 1 (Hull win 9-8 on penalties): Graham Smyth's player ratings as Whites exit Carabao Cup

LEEDS United fell at their first hurdle in the Carabao Cup with a 9-8 defeat at home to League One side Hull City after a 1-1 draw - but how did we rate the performances?

The Whites looked to be heading out in normal time following Mallik Wilks' fifth-minute strike only for Gjanni Alioski to equalise in the 92nd minute to take the game to spot kicks.

Yet United's joy and relief was shortlived and Graham Smyth, the YEP's chief football writer, hands out the scores.
