  • 7pm kick-off at York City’s LNER Community Stadium
  • Second-bottom v third-bottom
  • Rams only ahead of Whites on goal difference
  • Derby have two games in hand

This feels like a big game this evening. Mark Jackson’s young Whites currently find themselves in the division’s relegation zone, sat second-bottom but only behind third-bottom Derby on goal difference. The Rams, though, have two games in hand and the two sides will lock horns at York City’s LNER Stadium tonight in a 7pm kick-off. Our live blog will provide all the pre-match build-up, team news and analysis followed by live match updates and then post match reaction. Team news to follow at around 6pm. Could this provide a chance for minutes for Patrick Bamford perhaps? Stay tuned here.

Good evening from the LNER

Leeds arrive at the LNER - looking like a very young side again, as to be expected

Will be with us at 6pm but no sign of any big hitters such as Patrick Bamford. Looks like a young side again, as is to be expected when you consider Leeds had 11 players out injured by the time yesterday’s Premier League clash at West Ham concluded. That, clearly, has a big impact on the under-23s who then in turn look to the under-18s. The young Whites will be looking to build on Friday’s 2-1 victory against in the Premier League Cup. One look at the table tells you how important it is that Leeds now bag a league win.

Leeds United under-23s v Derby: Klaesson, Sutcliffe, McCarron, Jenkins, Mullen, Littlewood, McKinstry, Allen, Dean, McGurk, Miller.

Leeds United under-23s subs v Derby: Van Den Heuvel, Kenneh, Moore, Gray, Coleman.
