Leeds tipped to move for Man United talent, Everton ruled out of race - gossip
It will be interesting to see how active Leeds are after a busy summer, but one signing former England striker Kevin Phillips has suggested they could be keen on is that of Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo.
The Argentine has recently been linked with a potential switch to Newcastle United, but the pundit believes Elland Road could be another potential destination.
“I think Newcastle, Leeds and a few other clubs will be looking at Rojo”, he told Football Insider.
“I am sure there would be a lot of clubs on tracking him but Leeds is an appealing club at the moment.
“It is a big gamble going from United to Leeds but players are not bothered these days. Logistically it might work for him.
“Going to Leeds, with the exciting football that they’re playing, could be a possibility for Rojo.
“I would imagine Bielsa would look at that because that is an area they could do with strengthening in. He also has the experience of playing in big games at a big club.”
