The Premier League is a hotbed of speculation at the best of times, but with the winter market very much on the horizon, and with the Coronavirus pandemic playing havoc with a number of summer deals, things seem even busier than usual.

7. Orta opens up on Luis transfer pursuit
Leeds United transfer chief Victor Orta has revealed that the Whites did not sign Florentino LUis on loan this summer because they couldn't guarantee him the game time that parent club Benfica were looking for. The Elland Road man said: "“We liked him, but Benfica wanted to loan him out to get minutes. And in that position Kalvin Phillips plays, a reference and player of the Leeds academy. 9. Leeds and Newcastle in Gallagher hunt
