Leeds United transfer rumours: Whites linked with THREE - including £35m-rated midfielder, Manchester City starlet and Real Madrid attacker

Marcelo Bielsa’s Whites take on Sheffield United after the international break.

Indeed, Leeds United star Phillips says there will be no 'break' in Leeds United's hard work in a bid to scale loftier heights on the Premier League ladder.

He said: "We were building on a good performance last week (at Fulham) and we’ve got the three points.

“There’s a little bit of a break now but it doesn’t mean we aren’t going to go and work hard, so hopefully we’ll just carry on.”

Meanwhile, Pep Guardiola says Leeds United will provide the worst possible opponents for his quadruple-chasing Manchester City side after the international break.

The two midweek legs of City's Champions League quarter final against German giants Borussia Dortmund are then next on the horizon - either side of the league visit from Marcelo Bielsa's 11th-placed Whites on Saturday, April 10.

City were held to a 1-1 draw at Elland Road back in October and Guardiola says Leeds are the worst team his side could face in the middle of two Champions League games.

"When we come back, (we are) two months until the end of the season and every game is closer to winning titles but still there are many, many games," said Guardiola, as quoted by the Manchester Evening News.

“Leicester: 2-5 at home, how strong they are. And after, Champions League. And after, Leeds. Leeds is the worst opponent we can play between the Champions League (legs). The worst."

As always, however, there is still plenty of talk surrounding transfers!
