LEEDS ARE LEVEL
90+4. Elland Road has lost its mind. WOW! Joffy dances into the area, he beats one... then two... then three and he’s taken down. It’s a penalty. Rodrigo converts and the roof comes off LS11. 1-1!
Wolves free-kick
90+6. Leeds come forward from the restart. Semedo takes a tumble under pressure from Summerville.
LEEDS CHANCE
90+7. Gelhardt goes on a run, he’s into the box and his low shot is deflected past the post. So close!
Reaction to come
Well... that could be HUGE. Leeds fought right until the death there and got what they deserved. Joffy take a bow. Unbelievable.
Bielsa’s post-match starting
First question on Raphinha:
“He has a knock but I don’t know the extent of it.”
More from Bielsa
How pleased were you with the performance of your side?
“Apart from the initial minutes in both halves, we could control the game. And we created not too dangerous and not too many but sufficient amount of chances to have been able to win the game.”
How would you describe Gelhardt’s influence?
“In the initial minutes of the 30 that Gelhardt played, he had a very few contacts with the ball. But in the final fifteen minutes, he got the penalty and he had options to score one, or even perhaps two goals.
“I have the impression that him alongside Rodrigo created enough chances to have won the game.”
Bielsa on Sky Sports
Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa to Sky Sports: “We deserved something more than the draw. Apart from some things at the start of both halves, we had the control of the game. Progressively we started to get closer and closer to the goal and to have won the game would have been more in accordance with what happened on the pitch.”
On Joe Gelhardt’s impact: “In the initial minutes when he came on it was difficult for him to get on the ball and in the 15 minutes he was causing danger constantly. Not only the penalty but a few occasions he could have scored.”
On Raphinha’s injury: “He received a knock and we don’t know the extent of the injury yet.”
