The full story on Kinnear v Neville

Klich is the first out onto the pitch this evening at Elland Road.

He’s followed by Illan Meslier, Tyler Roberts, Adam Forshaw and Kalvin Phillios. Dan James and a few others appear a little later.

Neville among those to respond to Kinnear

What Patrick Vieira has said

“I think the way that Leeds play is really demanding and obviously a lot of energy game after game is really difficult to maintain,” Vieira said.

“But I think when you look at the game as well, they’ve been really unlucky in some of the games where they should have scored and they didn’t.

“I think at the moment things are not going their way but that doesn’t take away the energy and the quality that they have.

“Regarding the physicality from last year to this year, it is difficult because I didn’t watch them play so many times last year, but this is the team that for me, play with organisation and energy, and that didn’t change, really.

“So I think they’ve been unlucky not to win a couple of the games that they played so far. And reading the calendar, I think it’s the same for everybody. So we just have to adapt to the number of games that we have to play.”

What Marcelo Bielsa has said

“He’s (Vieira) changed the style of the team without too many signings,” Bielsa said.

“It’s a team that is solvent, with a careful management of the ball and with clear positive results. Obviously the function of a coach is for the team to play as he desires. It’s admirable how deeply he’s been able to install his ideas at Crystal Palace.”

Predicted Crystal Palace line-up

(4-3-3): Guaita; Ward, Tomkins, Guehi, Mitchell; Milivojevic, Kouyate, Gallagher; Olise, Zaha, Benteke.

Predicted Leeds United line-up

(4-1-4-1): Meslier; Dallas, Llorente, Cooper, Firpo; Phillips; Forshaw; Harrison, Rodrigo, Raphinha, James.

Early Crystal Palace team news

Crystal Palace will be without Joachim Andersen, who has a thigh injury, while midfielder James McArthur remains out.
