Leeds United 0-1 Newcastle United - recap: Elland Road reaction to Magpies defeat

Here we go then... Leeds and Newcastle head out onto the pitch for the pre-match duties. Kick-off next...

8. Throw reaches Wood in the Leeds box. He swings a volley at it, wins a corner ball. Meslier is out to punch clear.

10. A corner apiece in the last few minutes. No danger from either. Leeds trying to play at a high tempo, Newcastle slowing things down where possible.

10. Trippier flies in on Dallas on the near side in front of the dugouts. Leeds man got there first before releasing Harrison. Elland Road baying for a yellow but it’s just a chat from ref Chris Kavanagh.
