Thomas Frank's third-placed Brentford side are continuing their hunt of Championship front-runners Leeds and second-placed West Brom in relentless fashion with the Bees having won every game since coming out of lockdown without conceding a goal.

Brentford are still five points behind West Brom and six points adrift of Leeds with just five games left but former Whites midfielder Bowyer says there is little between United and Brentford in terms of quality.

Bowyer's side are approaching Tuesday's 6pm kick-off at Griffin Park sat sixth-bottom but only two points above the dropzone.

"They are a very, very good side,” said Bowyer of Brentford, as quoted by London News Online.

“I would now put them up there alongside Leeds.

"I went to the Wigan game to watch them live and they are very good – their movement is very good, they are very clinical and in the final third they have got people who can hurt you left, right and centre.

“The front three and midfield two can hurt you every time they go forward, they looked like they would score every time they went forward.

“They move the ball well and because they have so much possession they don’t give many chances away.

"You can see why they are pushing for the top two spaces.

"It’s going to be a tough game for us.

“Off the bench they are strong. They brought (Josh) Da Silva on, who is very good. They freshen it up well.

"The quality of player they are bringing off the bench is still very high.

"We’re going to have to be at it tomorrow, for sure.”
