Leeds United forward Tyler Roberts hopes he has impressed Wales boss Ryan Giggs sufficiently to be handed a chance to help the nation to Euro 2020.

Whites star Roberts has recently returned to the United first team following a knee problem with the 20-year-old playing the full 90 minutes of both of Leeds' last two league games.

Roberts has since linked up with Giggs' Welsh national side and the forward is now hoping he is handed further international opportunities in Saturday's clash at Azerbaijan and Tuesday night's home tie against Hungary, both of which are Euro 2020 qualifiers.

Roberts already has seven caps for Wales who are fourth in Group E but still only four points behind second-placed Hungary who only have two games left as opposed to Wales' three.

"Hopefully I can get some game time and we have got two massive games and hopefully we can get through to the Euro finals," said Roberts.

"I will train hard and show them what I can do and hopefully the manager will see that and put me on."
