Tyler Denton leaves Leeds United for Stevenage

LEEDS United left back Tyler Denton has joined Sky Bet League Two side Stevenage for an undisclosed fee.

The 23-year-old leaves Elland Road having made three senior appearances, having spent the last two seasons on loan at Port Vale and Peterborough.

Dewsbury-born Academy product Denton turned professional in the summer of 2014 and the defender made his first Whites start in the first round EFL Cup tie at Luton Town in August 2016 in which the left back scored a stunning winning goal.

A new contract followed three days later and further starts under boss Garry Monk came in the FA Cup ties at Cambridge United and Sutton United in January.

Denton then signed a new three-year contract with the Whites the following summer but spent the next two seasons on loan at Port Vale and Peterborough respectively with the defender making 21 appearances for Vale and 14 for Posh.
