Former Millwall manager Harris will take his new Bluebirds side to Elland Road for the first time this weekend and the 42-year-old has been suffering problems on the injury and illness front.

Former Whites captain Sol Bamba remains on the comeback trail from an ACL injury suffered back in March whilst Jazz Richards also remains out with a calf problem.

Junior Hoilett also has a hamstring injury while Harris has revealed that striker Gary Madine was suffering with a back issue towards the latter stages of Wednesday night's 2-1 loss at Brentford.

Bamba, Richards and Hoilett will definitely miss Saturday's clash at Elland Road and Harris has also revealed that Alex Smithies and Gavin Whyte were among two players ill this week along with Harris himself.

Asked about Whyte, Harris told WalesOnline: "He’s back in the group and comes into the thinking for this weekend.

"We’ve had, myself and a couple of staff, some illness within the group and a few players were missing the other day but hopefully that clears up quickly."
