Leeds United: Hockaday pins hope on Aidy recovery

White has some swelling of the outside of his foot/ankle and the United head coach is hoping that he has only sustained minor ligament damage, which would restrict his absence to just a few weeks.
On White, who came off in the second half at the Proact Stadium, Hockaday said: “Hopefully, it will be nothing more sinister than that and it will just be two to three weeks.
“We are hoping that is it.”

Alex Mowatt will also travel with the squad.
David Norris (thigh) will be assessed, while Noel Hunt and Zac Thompson did some light running yesterday and aren’t too far away from a return.
Hockaday has also revealed that the club will know more about the extent of Lewis Walters’ injury in the next few days, with the young striker having suffered a potentially serious knee cartilage problem.
